Some call it a dream. We call it home.
Jumbolair is centrally located in Ocala/Marion County, "The Horse Capital of the World". By way of car, we are ten minutes from downtown Ocala and 30 minutes from Gainesville - home of the University of Florida and Shands Medical Center. Jumbolair is located just one hour from the attractions and beaches of Orlando and Daytona Beach. Tampa and Jacksonville are just an hour and a half drive. Of course, by air, everything is just minutes!
Ocala/Marion County is an outdoor enthusiast's wonderland. It is home to more 1st magnitude springs (crystal clear) than any other geographical area in the world. The Ocala National Forest, 15 minutes from Jumbolair, offers fishing, hiking, and horseback riding. Even closer, is the Silver Springs State Park, where you can kayak or experience glass bottom boats over America's largest spring.
Jumbolair Aviation & Equestrian Estates has the largest, licensed, private runway in North America. The 7,550 ft x 200 ft asphalt runway is designated 18/36 and has an elevation of approximately 100 ft MSL. Runway has GPS approach and PAPI lighting. All estates have runway access via taxiway.
Nestled among the majestic oak trees and scenic horse farms of Ocala, Florida, our first-class Equestrian Center is an absolute treat for Jumbolair residents and their equine family members. The gorgeous state-of-the-art 16-stall barn and 20,000 sf covered arena, complete with German Geo Textile footing, are just some of the luxuries we offer to our resident Equestrians.
Jumbolair is the proud home of the American Honor Foundation; a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving historical aircraft and honoring the men and women who flew them in service. The AHF Flying Museum is quickly underway and is scheduled to open in Summer 2023. Ocala residents and visitors will be able to get up close and personal with American military artifacts and aircraft from WW2, Vietnam, Korea, and more.
